Manifesting Manali
Mountains talk to me for real, my friend has a little hide out on a mountain opposite to Manali. One can see the whole Manali from there which I keep staring at for hours man. Planning my bike trip, making my own map, I hear voices like the trees try to call me downhill, they want me to get on my bike and explore more new dope places. The announcements they make through that loudspeakers echos in the valley and I get an idea to cross borders, to head north and never look back, the voices say there's some treasure buried up in Afghanistan.
The route from Old Manali till that bridge that joins the main Solang road. That route is like a favourite chapter of my fav book, the urge to stop my bike and stare at the view for hours is strongest there, I would go for a walk there or live at some guest house probably this year and write a song or two about the river that passes by. The river says my name every time I'm around her. Man I miss Manali, I miss the roads, the trees , the shops which sell stones and those Tibetan flags.
Just a couple of months more at my workplace then I'm coming Manali, you're my new found love but I'll cheat a bit when my bike will flirt with Atal tunnel when I'll be speeding it from the heights of Kunzum pass. I ride through broken roads in Punjab telling myself that I'm practicing for the route from Kaza to Atal tunnel
